Raw vegan cheese, sunflower seeds
200 g raw sunflower seeds
1dl olive oil
A bit of lemon juice
Sunflower seeds are rich in proteins and they are not far behind the meat in their contents. In 100 grams of seeds, there are about 23 grams of protein, 49 grams of fat, 12 grams of carbohydrates and 6 grams of plant fibers.
Sunflower seeds are rich in vitamins and minerals, especially vitamins E and B1. With improved circulation, they help the whole body – hair, eyes, liver, bones, and muscles. They lower cholesterol and act to prevent cancer.
Probably you have mostly consumed fried ones with a little soy sauce or salt, and now try them in a variation that is worthy of replacing fresh cow cheese. That is why this recipe is ideal for vegans.
Soak the sunflower seeds overnight and scrub and wash well.
Throw it into a blender (recommend this one) with all the ingredients. This “fresh cheese” cannot stand long because it ferments quickly.
